I think I’m no longer alive
Was it the last summer I died
I’m so dead. dead like wood
Graveyard garden without bees, bereft the beehive
It says something the flowers hide
Like all the things we son’t do but should.
We steal We lie We contrive
No wonder upon our death nobody cried
but on deathbed no point to brood
You realize when you’re already fifty-five
get your act together or get rid of the ride
It calls for action. Not just thought provoking food
Killing yourself wouldn’t end your strife
Be wise. Tussle through the tide
Always do the Right. Whatever be you mood
Sin’s sticky. choose caution. don’t be naive.
Remember the guilt never leave your side
Life’s lessons I hope you understood
Now somebody please end my strife
And bring me back to life
