As children often we break into a boisterous laugh for no reason then why as we grow old we lose this very intrinsic trait, looking for reasons and logic in every situation thus becoming serious and haughty along the way. Why an innocent joke seems to be a jeer at our oh so deep pride. And no matter how good your sense of humor might be, you still find it hard to laugh at your own self. This change though slower than snail, sneakily manages to set foot in your psyche and when it does it leaves you empty.
